Driver Guide:
Most of our guides have experience of 15 years and above, they have all completed full training in - NOLS climbing courses in Tanzania/Kenya, - NOLS Medical Training (Wilderness Medicine Institute) courses, - WFA (Wildlife First Aid) courses, - Wilderness Training in Ornithology, Mammalogy and Ecology and have been certified by the Tanzania National Parks Authority as licensed full time guides. They all have Red Cross First Aid Certificates.
Transportation
As much of the journey involves exciting, and sometimes long days on the trail of wildlife, the quality of the ground vehicle is of the utmost importance. True vacations African Safaris Safari vehicles are 4WDs, maintained and serviced to make sure that they cope with the challenges of safari country. Each comfortable nine-passenger safari vehicle is limited to six guests, thus affording everyone a window seat and access to the roof hatch. Most of our vehicles are spacious, with a fridge, HF radios, first aid kits, heavy-duty wheels and extra fuel tanks. They have opening windows and video camera power sockets. A pop-up roof-hatch will give you the best views of the natural wonders the Country and wildlife.
